Why does my microwave run but not heat food?
This usually points to a faulty magnetron, high-voltage diode, capacitor or fuse. Our technician tests these parts safely and tells you which one needs replacing.
Is it safe to use a microwave that sparks?
No. Stop using it and unplug it. Sparking can come from a damaged waveguide cover, metal inside the oven or an internal fault.
